We are really busy and have been for some time, and due to unprecedented continuous growth have opened an additional facilities, but however large we grow we still remain a friendly and pleasant place to work.

We are looking to recruit Export Packers to join our team specialising in the manufacture of bespoke timber packing cases, made to customers` requirements, for high value plant and machinery.  Our team are excellent, and are happy to share their vast expertise and train you in the skills that you will need for your future career.

Don’t worry if you don’t have industrial packing experience, we can offer training for suitable applicants who are enthusiastic, willing to learn new skills, comfortable with using power tools and machinery, have a mature attitude, and want to work.

On top of your basic weekly hours we often have lots of overtime available at enhanced rates, and can offer a career with a solid family company who operate worldwide.

Export Packer – The Role:

You will be involved in a multitude of different tasks which primarily involve the manufacture of timber packing cases and export packing of high value plant and machinery for worldwide distribution.

Export Packer – Candidate Personal Attributes:

You will be able to demonstrate the following attributes:

• Self-motivated with a flexible and positive approach, dependable and accurate.
• Have the ability to work well as part of a team in a busy environment and take direction.
• Can communicate well with a good level of numeracy and literacy.
• Able to understand written and verbal instructions
• Comfortable with the use of power tools
• Are safety aware
• Willing to learn new skills quickly
• Able and willing to work additional hours when necessary, depending upon customer requirements

Experience & Training:

Experience within the packing sector is desirable, but it’s not essential, as we can provide training for suitable applicants.

We offer a friendly working environment with day working Monday to Friday 39 ½/40 hours a week.

Factory Operatives

Location: Berkhamsted (HP4 1EH)

Salary: Competitive, DOE

Hours: Monday to Friday, Days

With over 100 years of experience, this privately owned and professionally managed business offers fit-for-purpose export packing solutions, consolidation, warehousing, inspection and quality check of packing level worldwide. We also have a specialist packaging division, based in Berkhamsted.

Due to our continued expansion we are looking to recruit Factory Operatives at our Berkhamsted site.

It’s a small site, everyone helps with all aspects of production, and although it’s busy it’s also very friendly.

You will be involved in various operational tasks in the manufacturing of corrugated and foam products to the highest standards using machinery. There is also the opportunity for someone to work as an operative and also help out driving our van locally.

You will ideally have some experience of working in a manufacturing environment and be comfortable with operating machinery. Don’t worry if you don’t have specific manufacturing skills as we can provide all necessary training. It’s more important that you want to be part of a happy successful team that help each other and enjoy working in a good atmosphere, and will attend work daily as we are a small team and rely on each other.

We work days, Monday to Friday, and occasionally have overtime available.
