Approved to ISO 9001:2008 Neal Brothers designers work with customers around the world producing packaging solutions, auditing existing packaging and producing packaging concepts for new products in development.

Neal Brothers believe that packaging should be assessed for its efficiency on a number of levels including cost of raw material, labour, assembly, its impact on transport cost and disposal. Neal Brothers constantly strive for opportunities to reduce supply chain costs by providing cheaper packaging, changing pack materials, altering the way product is packed, lowering pack weight, or reducing total pack size.

To speed up the design process Neal Brothers have installed state-of-the-art 3D modelling software, ProE.

This allows us to import customers’ product prototypes straight from the drawing board and develop the correct packaging directly with your own engineers wherever they are based.

By this method the need for time consuming and costly samples is eliminated as precise adjustments can be modelled as requested to the packaging or even to the product itself during the design process.

Accurate dimensions and profiles can be extracted from the product drawing and the resulting packaging solution can be proved by the 3D model.

Final drawings can then be printed and the packaging can be manufactured by Neal Brothers, right first time.

This can be an essential part of the design process where clear design parameters are drawn up. Size or weight constraints, the method of packing, transport, handling, storage and fragility factors etc. are all vital to this audit. Our designers will examine your product and produce a drawing or prototype sample of the finished pack, for your approval within a very short time frame. Neal Brothers design capability has been recognised and approved by MOD as a DR14 accredited supplier.

It is vital to establish the fragility of your product and the method of transport and handling to ensure and develop adequate packaging protection.

Neal Brothers design engineers have the experience to calculate the precise cushioning required to archive this protection.

These factors if not known from experience can be established by drop testing, again carried out in-house by our own designers.
